Marinekameratene er Marves gamle venner fra vernepliktstiden i marinen — en løst sammensatt vennekrets han holder fast ved. The navy comrades are Marve's old friends from his naval conscription — a loosely-knit circle of buddies he clings to. They gather for a reunion in "Rotbløyte", where Marve lays in strategic purchases at the liquor store to guarantee the party's success, with the expected chaotic result. The navy comrades are also the reference behind the parties and reunions in Marve's home life, and one of the show's few sources of male camaraderie outside his relationship with Modern.
